Costa Rica
Join me on a journey to photograph the diverse wildlife of Costa Rica!

During this trip we will visit several different areas of Costa Rica including a cloud forest, to the Caribbean lowlands.
Though no sightings are ever guaranteed...Our target species will be Quetzals, Toucans, Sloth, Red-eyed Tree Frogs, King Vultures, Hummingbirds (many of them!) red-headed barbets, and so much more! There's simply too many to list here.

Dates:
November 13-23 2025 (13th and 25th are travel days)
December 6-16 2025 (December 6-16 are travel days)
A sample itinerary (though subject to change) is:
Arrival day: Overnight in San Jose
Day 1-3 We will head up north stopping at a hummingbird and butterfly garden. We will spend the next couple days photographing toucans, king vultures, macro session, hummingbirds and the possibility of much more
We then travel to our next destination where we will visit many different locations for feeder setups, more hummingbirds, possibly sloths, and more!
Our last stop is several days high up in a cloud forest where we will be after the iconic resplendent quetzal. In this location many other species of hummingbirds can be found as well as different species that we would not see in the lowlands!
The last night would be spent back in San Jose to ensure all flight times can be made.

Cost: $6995 per person - $500 deposit due at booking. Deposit is non- refundable unless I am able to back fill the spots. Final payments are due 90 days prior to the trip and will also be non-refundable at that time (again, unless I can back fill the spots)
$6450 Per person if sharing a room
What's included: Small group size of 4-5 guests. Most tours here are 6-10 guests however I think that it too much for everyone to have a great trip.
