This workshop is the one that I have been operating the longest, 10 years now! We have had many amazing trips over the years and expect that to continue into 2026! During this photography workshop/tour you can expect to build a large portfolio of many different animals!

What to expect: Florida is a large state and home to many different species, but getting them requires moving around quite a bit. Often times we don't stay in the same hotel for more than one night (though I do try to if a certain area allows) but I have found in the many years of running this trip that this is the best way to see as much as possible!

Locations vary from year to year but some of the most consistent locations that we will visit are....several different nesting bird rookeries where you can expect to get up very close to birds like spoonbills, wood storks, great egrets, tricolored herons, little blue herons, snowy egrets and more!

~We will make multiple visits to see barred owls, they are always the highlight of the trip for me personally and I do my best to get you those Spanish moss owl photos!

~A beach to attempt to see a reddish egret fishing as well as other shorebirds

~A marsh land that we will walk throughout the park to see a huge variety of animals!

~A wild bird rookery where birds nest in a zoo over alligators though they are free to come and go as they please since they are wild, so we get special photography passes allowing us to be in the park before opening and after the park closes.

These are just a few of the highlights!

What's included:

~All hotels in Florida

~All transportation once you arrive at the airport (or drive)

~Personal one on one training with photography and or videography as well as editing lessons if needed

~All park fees and photographer pass

What's not included

~Travel to Florida (flights etc...)

~Meals (usually hotels provide free breakfast)

Dates and Cost

Dates: April 17-26 (17th and 26th are travel days so you will want to book flights for those days into Orlando MCO)

Cost: $6495 Per Person with a $1000 deposit that is NON REFUNDABLE as I need to make reservations for several places at the time of booking.

This trip is open for ANY skill level and is a relatively easy trip. There is not a lot of heavy physical activities on this trip.
